Farm Lockdown

It turns out that Club 77 canned live bands after that night we played – as in us, The Ivy’s, and Royal Chant were the final band to play there ever!  Whoopsie!  I didn’t figure we were a deathblow kind of a band, wait no we are pretty brutal… I guess…

Anyhow, we have returned from 5 days on a farm near the Victorian snowfields writing and arranging new songs!  It was a majestic place and we got a lot done.  The trees, cows, horses, ducks, pregnant dog, cats and chickens didn’t seem to mind.  The mosquitoes did – always getting drunk and trying to start a fight.

Every morning we ate fresh raspberries, strawberries and silvernberries picked from the vines.  During the day we ate fruits straight of the trees or freshly fallen to the ground.  The only stress we had the whole journey was not being able to find the keys to the rental van for 2 days.  But we eventually found them, they were in the fridge.

Definitely experienced delirium working on new music day and night.  The only time off we had was a glorious swim/drift down the river, which started as soon as we got past the electric fence.  Here is the link to the photo album of our trip……
